Part-9 Monitor Logical Thinking for Engaging Screenagers?

Remember when you were doing algebra and if you’ve got the right answer but you didn’t follow the right steps you didn’t get full credit?

What the teachers were doing is helping us learn how to follow logical steps.
Until now there really hasn’t been a way to monitor that logical thinking.

For example let’s look at using John Dewey’s Method Of Reflective Thinking for solving problems.
These are the steps of the thinking process and all you need to do is include them in your eWorkbook as you are teaching.
  • Q1: Define what is the problem?
  • Q2: What are the severity and causes of the problem?
  • Q3: What are the solution criteria?
  • Q4: What are the possible (as many as possible) solutions to the problem?
  • Q5: What is/are the best possible solution(s) to the problem?
Imagine you want to train your learners to ask questions that follow a logical flow whenever they tackle a problem, so you ask these questions (in this order) in your eWorkbook.

As students respond they can now begin to see how the flow works.
Once they begin to use the pattern over time in your eWorkbooks until it becomes a habit.
Look back at all those meetings where everyone was arguing for his or her solution (junk engagement), and ask yourself how much better would you feel if they had followed this logical thinking method (0ptimal engagement.)
Can’t you imagine how useful this could become for Engaging Screenagers throughout their lives?

Over the Top
Isn’t it true that In the end there will be moments and their lives where they will recall could recall these habit of thinking.
Wouldn’t it be a shame to not give Engaging Screenagers this gift of logical thinking as their lives could be so much more engaging in a positive way?

Make logical thinking a habit for a happier engaging life.
