7 Ways eWorkbooks Build Strong Churches Engaging Screenagers
A couple days ago I mentioned using an eWorkbook at church.
Why not? eWorkbooks are a powerful way to help communities feel more connected.
Some people may say that they don’t want their ideas shared with others and especially not in a church situation, and I respect that.
For those I would suggest they don’t use the eWorkbook and that should eliminate the problem.
In organizations it’s a good idea to enroll others to use new tools and systems, because forcing others doesn’t get cooperative and endorsed collaboration.

For the members who want to move forward to connect with others, here are some ways we’ve had good luck using eWorkbooks that could help your church connect and collaborate better.
1 Connect with others
We’ve had good luck with our eWorkbooks in church sermons as a way for people to share Moments of Growth and interact with others.
This is a way for members to feel more connected and make it a habit. (optimal engagement)
2 Automate scriptures references
As some attending the service want to look up all of the scriptures referenced in the message, and the past they looked up all , but now just putting links in eWorkbooks is an excellent way to make the look-up process quick and easy.
Now you don’t have to look-up all the references as the links are all right there. (optimal engagement)
3 Share responses
eWorkbooks are a great way to share ideas that are come out while listening, or when the pastor asks a question.
This allows those with experience to share their ideas and Moments of Growth with eWorkbooks so others can relate see answers right away.

You can do quick polling so people can participate when they want and all can see what others have submitted in response to the questions. (optimal engagement)
4 Interact remotely
You don’t have to be there in church as can you can be anywhere.
If you are watching the live broadcast being streamed on YouTube Live (for example,) you can still participate and share your Moments of Growth in your eWorkbooks, during the service. (optimal engagement)
5 Interact with delay
If you are in a different time zone or not able to view the service live, you can still participate with the service.
For those who are traveling or who are on a different continent they can watch the church service at a different time and still participate and share Moments of Growth with interactive eWorkbooks(optimal engagement)
6 Maintain connection with small group members
We have found eWorkbooks are especially useful for small groups as these groups generally meet once a week.
Because there is little interaction during the week, eWorkbooks can help bridge interaction between meetings and thus members can share Moments of Growth with others to maintain connections. (optimal engagement)
7 Interact with church members
As eWorkbooks are Google (survey) Forms, eWorkbooks are a great way to continually and conveniently ask questions, test interest, do fundraising, and enroll volunteers, by adding 1-2 questions near the end of your eWorkbooks.

eWorkbooks help you keep an ongoing pulse of what people are thinking and wanting in your church.
If your church wants to change or improve an area, you will have data analytics to show support for that change, and in the past this process wasn’t so easy.
Now you can add links for people to sign up or participate in extra volunteer or social events by just adding a question and a link for a description. (optimal engagement)
If you look at your church and feel this would create a problem with too many people speaking up and asking for too much(junk engagement), it seems you may want to take a good look at your mission as a church.
Wouldn’t it be great if your church could be more interactive and collaborative with everyone including Engaging Screenagers?
Couldn’t the people in the church agree to move forward, create systems, and share Moments of Growth that support collaboration for the good of the church?
As your church moves forward, there are so many forces pushing and pulling that can tear a church apart in the long run, isn’t it better to prevent that collapse?

Share your church with eWorkbooks for a better church.
