Monitor Screenagers In-class Engagement and Learning with Interactive eWorkbooks-Google Forms

Image
When pilots fly airplanes they continually get instant feedback as they monitor the location, weather, time, and many, many other factors. And I’m glad they do because monitoring and feedback keep people safe. But when Screenagers walk into a classroom they may or may not get feedback until they get their first quiz scores back, and that can 3 weeks, 5 weeks, or even longer. Even as a professional seminar leader, back in the day, I wasn’t able to monitor learning and engagement other than evals at the end. Do you think that’s fair? What if there were free tools for teachers, trainers, and even parents, to monitor and continually collect learning analytics to give feedback to improve and support engagement and learning?

Using the eWorkbook will give you what you seek. Look for improvement and you'll get it--Look for problems and that's all you'll see.

Using the eWorkbook, it will give you what you seek. Look for improvement and you'll get it--Look for problems and that's all you'll see. The point? With eWorkbooks you get more information than ever before to make the decisions that will truly help learners. Because eWorkbooks run from Google Forms you DON'T need: extra apps, extra support, extra materials, extra other skills, extra investment $$$, etc. https://youtu.be/jahPaHQ7YXU

After You Ask Questions Do You Really Listen to Screenagers?

Image
When you were in school, what time was your listening class? Let me ask you, was your listening class before lunch or was it after lunch? One of the most important skills we can learn is to listen well. The fact is, we (and I wrote “we” because I know I continually work to develop my skills) don’t listen well at all. Dr Warren listening to engage screenagers in his audience The pity is, we spend the majority of our communication listening. As I mentioned in my  blog yesterday ,  we will look at tips to improve listening   to show caring to engage screenagers. Today we’ll go deep into the details like Jack Welch shares in his books. Winning There is a saying, “Most of us don’t need to learn, but we do like to be reminded” because there are so many distractions in the world today. Let me remind you there are a few ideas I want to share to help improve listening to show caring for Screenagers. One of the biggest prevalent challenges to listening is wh

No, it’s not that easy, but compared to everything else, (when you add in all other costs, apps, support, etc.) it is one of the easiest. The whole point is that any teacher or trainer can use this engaging tool to engage any class, and after they are engaged, they’ll want that optimal engagement again.

The whole point is that any teacher or trainer can use this engaging tool to engage any class, and after they are engaged, they’ll want that optimal engagement again. I keep getting asked how much support and extra apps you need to use this in the classroom or the training room. The tool is free, it needs no extra app, and you don’t need a whole team to support you. #Engage, #Engaged, #Engagement, #Engaging, #High Value Engagement, #Junk-Engagement, #Optimal Engagement in the ScreenAge, #Screenagers,

Your Questions: Trial Lawyer? or Screenagers’ Caring Friend?

Image
Your questions: trial lawyer? or Screenagers’ caring friend? Truth is, many people ask questions they already know (or think they know) the answers. Many people ask questions when they want to prove a point. These are ‘in the courtroom, trial lawyer, on the stand, nothing but the truth, cross examined, with a judge’ stuff, where a point is forced. Not many like to be forced, and those aren’t caring questions—the focus of this blog. If you really care and want to show caring, ask questions that come from caring, learning, becoming aware, and supporting. As Stephen Covey says, it is best to understand the other first, and then get them to understand you. Why do so many underestimate presenting to Screenagers?

Why do so many underestimate presenting to Screenagers? Actually, a more important question is,”Why does it matter? A few years ago, I was at a wedding and the best man had obviously not rehearsed, and after he finished giving his toast, he asked me what I thought. My questions went something like this. “Is the groom your best friend?” “Yes,” He answered. “Do you care about your best friend?” “Yes,” He answered. “Don’t you care enough about your best friend to prepare your toast and rehearse for him?” There was no answer. Your listeners will know if you have not rehearsed because they will get junk-engagement. Your listeners will know you care when you have rehearsed because they will get high value engagement. This reminds me a one of the sub-plots in the Harry Potter stories. Harry showed his caring through his preparation throughout the whole series of stories. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone I get such a kick out of all these people at seminars
