6 Points you need to create great content, part-2

First of all, here is a quick review from part-1.

1. First, how will your community use your content?

2. Next, what formats are best for different audiences?

3. Last, what formulas help your content go from boring to compelling?

In that post, part-1, we ended with this idea. You may be only one post away from changing someone’s life. That may be your life too. So, create community content today.
Now let’s get started with part-2

4. How do I create content?

That’s easy. Don’t create content. Document content.
Often my clients ask, “Warren, I’m running company how can I find time to write posts, curate images, and produce videos and infographics?
Possibly, this is one of the best questions of the day. So, you can overcome this by simply documenting what you are doing on a day-to-day basis.
Maybe, what if your real-life experiences can be a very valuable to you and others. Your experiences help viewers get to know, want to follow you, and therefore help you create community content.
Working with my coaching clients, we use what’s called, “The fly on the wall exercise.” This exercise helps clients reflect and learn because they see their conversations and actions as an observer.
Imagine what it would have been like to be in the office with Mark Zuckerberg. Wouldn’t it be priceless to watch and listen in as Mark has discussions and makes decisions.

What is the easy way to create content?

Pick up your smartphone. Then, record audio or video, or just write your ideas as your engage your passion.
The sooner you catch your ideas, the more content you will have. Then later, you can narrow down the best content you want to post.
Also, you can easily create community content in other ways too. Use activities, polls, exercises, and assessments to help you interact with your audience and get content.
Next, influencers find that these interactions build loyalty. Also, this encourages their audiences to help guide future content and direction for communities.
Your content and interactions, therefore, are how you build a loyal community.  Probably, this becomes more of an art than a science with two points.
  1. You will curate and introduce new and different ideas related to your passion.
  2. Your audience will share their interests to inspire new ideas related to your passion.
It seems like this may be difficult, but so was riding a bike at first.

5. You need to find the sweet spot.

The sweet spot is giving what your community expects and getting them to contribute too.  Also, keep sharing both consistent content and new content. Remember, you can use your email list to learn more of what your followers want.
Also you can my builders to create community content. Maybe, you will be amazed to see how much content you create. While you just answer questions,  you create your own content.
Remember though, it’s key to make sure you don’t waste too much time crafting your content.

6. What methods are best to share content?

You can and should share content everywhere all the time. So, "What do you mean, Warren?" you ask.
To connect with your audience, maybe share content where your audience wants to consume it. Also, you will want to learn how to use automating and outsourcing to share your content.
There are several web applications available to help you automate. Because these can do the sharing for you, they make sharing your community content easier.
