Blogger: 6-Steps you need to promote your content

Often, I’m asked, “Why would I pay to build my audience?”

We do not teach or encourage paying for followers. So, in this post we are talking about paying for attention and not paying for followers.

WARNING: There are several sites that will sell you followers. I tried it once, and by 6 weeks later they had all unsubscribed. Also. don’t do that because they will not help you understand your audience.

Also, your engagement and interaction will drop. When you medium sees your engagement drop, their algorithm will show you to fewer people.

You’re not paying your audience. You are paying your social media to show your content to more people. As this gives you the opportunity to get your followers attention.

Step-1. Create content and post in on your primary medium.

So, how the technique works is fairly straightforward, but it isn’t that simple.* You create content for Blogger or a video, audio, or visual post.

Then, you will watch the engagement on Blogger. When engagement is going up, look at those who engaged.

Step-2. Create a list of common traits, interests, and passions from your promoted content.

After looking at several viewers' profiles, create a list of common traits, interests, and passions.

Then you promote your content on Facebook. Have Facebook show your ads to people with these traits, interests, and passions.

*(NOTE: This process is not super easy. In fact, it’s quite easy to make it overly complicated. That happened to me, so what I did was spend a lot of time on YouTube. Although it’s tempting to hire someone, you really need to know how this works.)

Step-3. Create your Facebook Ad Manager account and campaign, and then post your ads.

Next, fashion your most popular post (only 1 post at a time) into ad format. Also, create several versions of your 1 ad for A/B (comparison) testing.

After that, create your Facebook Ad Manager account with your Facebook ID. Follow the steps to create a campaign and then post your ads to promote your content.

Also, you can pay Facebook to “boost” your articles and post to others. You can lazar target those who have similar traits/interests, passions, etc.

Step-4. Link back to your site and build your following list.

Then you can link your ads or boosts back to your posts or cite. So this is where you get their contact info for your email list.

This process extends the reach of those who see. your message. Therefore it gives you more opportunity to connect and build relationships.

Step-5. Look carefully at the traits, interests, and passions of your audience.

Then wait for a few days, look at those who responded. Specifically, learn about their traits, interests, and passions.

As a result, the most valuable part of this is getting laser focused information about your audience. Next, you can laser focus ads on your Primary medium.

If your medium is Blogger, you can boost your video on Facebook and link back to your posts.

Step-6. Use what you learned to from promoted content to build your audience.

Ads and boosts are key to help you laser focus and segment your audience. So this helps you understand your followers’ traits, interests, and passions.

The better you understand the easier it is to connect and build your audience. With your new understanding, you can promote your content on your primary medium for great results.
