So, you ask, “How do you build a personal brand personality to use?” Thanks for asking, so please let me explain the builder.

NOTE: We have called this a “builder” instead of a course.  This is because you spend your time “building” than learning “how to.”

Back in the day when I was in school learning to be a teacher, I learned about Carl Jung. Carl Jung is famous for his advanced thinking about personalities and archetypes.

As you  look at brands you can see they have characteristics of human personalities. So, we see, feel, and hear different brand messages, content, and experiences with these human characteristics. Also, we associate these experiences with different people, brands, characters, and animals.

Your influential brand personality process

In the course you will reflect on your own behavior styles to build your brand personality. So, by answering a few questions you will create your own personality style. Next, make sure your personality and your brand personality align. 

After that you will kick it up a notch. Next, align your style with an archetype that we humans understand are relate to.

Once you've built your archetype, you use it to guild your content building and creation.

Brand builder foundations

This builder is based on 20 years of communication research on archetypes and human personalities.  So, here are some some books (remember those?) that clarify each of these concepts.

Kent Wertime wrote about different archetypes in, "Building Brands & Believers: How to Connect with Consumers Using Archetypes." In his book, Wertime shares how we are attracted and relate to brand archetypes.

Dr. Rick Brinkman, Richard Kirschner, wrote a book called, “Dealing With Difficult People.” The authors describe specific communication / behavior characteristics we associate with personality styles.

So, archetypes can be attractive, but it isn’t easy to create one. Therefore, we’ve combined behaviors we see, hear, and measure. So, these will help you understand and build your own personal brand personality archetype.

How to build your brand personality with the builder

In this course, you will want to answer as best as you can for at the beginning. Also, keep your momentum. So, give quick answers and don’t think too much about your responses.

You will focus on behaviors that will guide your content as an Influencer. As you go through all 7 sessions of this 1st module, you will clarify your brand personality. Also, you will focus the passion you want to share, and content your ideal followers want to consume.

3. Then, post your full summary in your weekly blog.  Also, post short summaries as daily social media.
